Save the date: Baltic Sea Tourism Forum 2026 heads to Denmark – Helsingør, 2–3 November 2026

The Baltic Sea Tourism Forum (BSTF) will return for its 18th edition in Denmark, bringing together tourism stakeholders from across the Baltic Sea Region for a full day of knowledge-sharing, cooperation and inspiration. The Forum will take place in Helsingør (Elsinore), with a networking programme on 2 November and the main Forum day on 3 November 2026.

The Baltic Sea Tourism Forum 2026 is organised by the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) Policy Area Tourism Coordinators together with Cruise Baltic, Port of Helsingør, Partnership for International Train Tourism, Wonderful Copenhagen, and VisitDenmark, and co-financed by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme and the organising partners.

The Baltic Sea Tourism Forum is the leading annual macro-regional platform for tourism cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region, supporting dialogue, the exchange of experience, and joint action among public authorities, destination management organisations, businesses, research institutions, and NGOs. It provides a unique space to address shared challenges, including sustainability, innovation, seasonality, and competitiveness, while strengthening a common Baltic Sea tourism identity and cross-border collaboration.

A key annual meeting place for Baltic Sea Region tourism

The Forum is coordinated within the EUSBSR Policy Area Tourism https://eusbsr.eu/policy-area-tourism/, currently led by the Pomorskie Tourist Board (Poland) and the Council of the Oulu Region (Finland), and is hosted each year by a different Baltic Sea country or region. The most recent edition, BSTF 2025 in Gdańsk (Poland), brought together around 200 participants and focused on regenerative and data-driven tourism, underscoring the Forum’s role as a practical space for partnerships, inspiration, and future-oriented solutions.
